I've had it for 4 years, just bought a brand new samsung watch 6 (I think its the name) and I can definitely say that the fossil is still competitive and has a battery that somehow still lasts at least a day which is pretty much like the Samsung. Okay, the screen resolution is obviously worse and it doesn't have heart beat detector or water resistance. But other than that, it has everything the samsung one has and does it just as well. That fossil watch was definitely the best present I ever received. (Also I have the rubber wristband and it's still in great shape 4 years later)

Yes, OTG is the ONLY way to fly a Spark! I had lots of trouble before with connectivity, which all went away when I changed to OTG, but also to the modded app which makes it fly in FCC mode! With these two "modifications" the Spark flies like a dream! Instead of the long OTG cable in the video, get an OTG adaptor which is tiny and also get a short cable, but make sure it it is data cable (not just a charge cable).

Got this watch for Christmas came with a cheap knockoff charger that has trouble connecting. Where can I get a charger? All stores sell gen 4 and up if they even carry this brand and every online search shows chargers that claim they can charge gen 3 but never show the model dw4a in the specifics so I don't want to buy until I know for sure. Also any user guides or instructions online on how to use?

This watch sucks, I loved it in the beginning unfortunately it has some major issues. 1st the watch heats up really badly when used for extensive periods of time or put to charge there will be times i'm wearing the watch and because its sending me notifications it heats up my wrist. 2 the center crown on this renders the watch almost unusable , the placement and sensitivity cause the user to accidentally click the button when the wrist is bent , triggering the google assistant, now in my specific case , when the assistant is triggered it will then give me the option to power off or restart my watch , if I do nothing , it will restart on its own in a continuous bootloop until its dead. I've had my watch go from 80% down to 23 just because its constantly rebooting. too make matters worse the watch has only a 2 year warranty even though Fossil is aware of this defect. so if you are no longer covered under warranty be prepared to spend the cost of another fossil explorist gen 3 just to fix the faulty components. No thanks I'll take this L and take my business else where 300 dollars down the drain..thanks

I can't find that combo of legs/top on ikea and I worry that the Hilver top you are using looks a bit thinner than the desktop those (Adils?) legs are designed for (the much cheaper Linnmon series with the carboard core). Ok, so we I'll know that the battery life on these things aren't stellar. But, it is just as good imgs.love/Fossil5Gen?hのC in my opinion, as the iWatch. I can go all day with normal usage and by 9:00 p.m. still have about 25 to 35% battery left.

I'd connected to my Spark via WiFi after initially using the OTG with success, just to try, but then there were no prompts to re-connect via the OTG cable and it was driving me nuts. There are other vid's on this subject, but this is the only method that worked for me! Glad I found it.
